Our Level 3 course content and FAQs

Our Level 3 Diploma in Gym Instructing and Personal Training allows you to start learning online straight away. You can then book to join us in our Harrogate training centre for your pre-assessment coaching and assessment days. As opposed to a pure online PT qualification, our diploma requires some in-person attendance at the Fitness Garage in Harrogate. Some are mandatory days with our tutors and your fellow learners, others are available optionally to suit your needs.

The course is studied flexibly with open access to Active IQ’s e-learning materials, so you can self-study when you like. Our tutors will arrange your weekly one to one mentoring or small group academic coaching support to keep you motivated with course learning and on keep you task towards completion. Hard copies of some of the learning materials will be provided when you are inducted. You can download our full curriculum outline here.

Uniquely, we also offer 4 online, post-qualification business support sessions in your first year – all included in your PT course fee.

We will continue to coach you during your first year, checking in every 90 days with your fellow learners, to ensure you continue to head in the right direction; learning, reflecting and innovating your business.

Our L3 PT Diploma is £1850

This includes 4 days at our Harrogate training facility. These will initially be booked in when you register. We offer flexible ‘pay as you learn’ monthly payment options prior to your certification. GoCardless facilitates a secure plan with a direct debit guarantee. Full terms of this plan are available upon request.
